Breathe Pilates.
Next workshop.
'Breathing is the first act of life and the last. Our very life depends on it. Since we cannot live without breathing it is tragically deplorable to contemplate the millions and millions who have never mastered the art of correct breathing.' Joseph Pilates
Joseph knew it. Breathing is the most essential act of life and yet it is also something that many of us take for granted and many of us aren't doing optimally. Join this workshop with Cathy and Breath specialist Joe from Progressive Meditation where we will explore the mechanics of breath, learn specific techniques to improve our every day breathing habits and explore how breathing relates to our Pilates practice.
Everyone welcome. More information coming soon.
What People Are Saying
“Cathy is a wonderful pilates teacher: incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and supportive. I trained with Cathy before pregnancy, throughout my pregnancy and postnatally and I am certain that working with her has been the key to my recovery from a tough pregnancy and hard birth, as an older, third time mum. I highly recommend Cathy and regularly do recommend her to friends in Stavanger!.”
— Jude
“Cathy is deeply passionate about the human body and especially the changes woman go through in childbirth and menopause.
When I started training with Cathy I was in a lot of pain and going through hormone shifts due to menopause. I had stopped exercising all together. She helped me get back my core strength focusing on the areas that had been affected by my two C-sections as well as educating me on the changes my body was undergoing because of menopause.”
— Alex
“I started training with Cathy a little over three years ago as a complete beginner with no prior experience of pilates. I had ruptured ligaments in my ankle which prevented me from doing my usual exercises and I needed to do something for my own sanity - I met Cathy, started pilates and became hooked right away!
Cathy has a wonderful ‘reformer-side manner’ and is clearly very experienced and passionate about what she does.
She has continued to train me throughout various levels of strength and fitness, pre and post natal phases with baby number three and is currently helping me with rehabilitation for diastasis recti, hypertonic pelvic floor and tibial plateau fracture.”
